Fifty Days at Iliam. Shades of Eternal Night — Fine Art

Fifty Days at Iliam. Shades of Eternal Night by Cy Twombly covers the surface with loose chalk lines and small written marks. The tones stay pale and the writing sits across the field without forming a clear picture. Cy Twombly kept drawing and writing together in his practice, and this print follows that same way of working.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. A metal hanger is fitted to the back, so the print goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed. The matte surface keeps the light marks readable under a lamp instead of turning bright.

It fits a quiet wall above a long desk. You see the broad loops from the doorway and the small marks up close.
