Flowering Shrubs — Fine Art

Flowering Shrubs by Vincent van Gogh records a cluster of shrubs blooming together under a bright sky. The brushwork moves in short strokes and the colours sit close together without blending. You can see the leaves and petals built from many separate marks.

A fine art print carries the image on matte paper so the painted surface stays soft under indoor light. The frame finish can follow the room, with a light frame on a dark wall or a dark frame on a pale wall.

It fits on the wall beside a wooden bookcase in a study. From the desk you notice the green leaves and the small flowers first, then the faster marks across the branches.
