Four Days — Fine Art

Four Days - 1979 by Jimmy Ernst shows a field of thin black lines crossing a light sheet. The lines run in different directions and leave open spaces between them. Some lines stop short, so the edge of the picture stays uneven. You can see the pencil feel of the hand drawn marks.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The frame in white, wood, dark wood or black gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. The frame edge holds the thin lines in place so they do not fade into the wall behind them.

On a narrow hallway wall near a coat hook, the long marks lead the eye down the corridor. You notice the small gaps between the lines when you stand at the far end.
