About this work

French Window at Collioure

French Window at Collioure shows a window opening onto a bright harbour. Broad painted marks fill the view and the glass plane divides the picture. Henri Matisse built the scene with decisive strokes.

The fine art frame uses a white finish, and the clean edge sits against the painted glass plane. The black line of the frame keeps the window shape clear on the wall.

A room with morning light from a side window suits the picture. Hanging at eye level you see the broad marks first, then the painted glass edge across the view.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.
Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
