From Out of the Sea — Fine Art

From Out of the Sea shows a small shape moving up from the water toward a plain sky. The eye enters low and follows the shape as it rises. Space stays open above the line. Eyvind Earle built this picture with clean outlines and flat colour bands.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. When you order the ready to hang option it arrives assembled. The flat colours stay even on the matte surface, so the rising shape reads cleanly without shine.

It reads well above a long bookcase where you stand back a few steps. From there the low water line leads up to the clear space above. Up close you see the clean outline along the top edge of the shape.
