Garden of the Asylum and Tree Trunks and a Stone Bench — Fine Art

Garden of the Asylum and Tree Trunks and a Stone Bench shows a garden path with thick tree trunks and a stone seat tucked among the leaves. The brushwork is quick and broken, so the shapes stay loose even at full scale.

Up close the paint sits in short vertical strokes and the surface looks worked rather than smooth. The piece is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. When the ready to hang option is used it arrives assembled.

That solid backing keeps the print flat against the wall and the frame holds the edges straight. The dark trunks and pale ground need a surface that does not reflect, so the paper stays matte and the colours keep their soft edges.
