Garland of Fruit and Flowers — Fine Art

Garland of Fruit and Flowers shows a curved band of blossoms and produce woven together. Pierre-Auguste Renoir used quick colour patches to build the fruit and petals. The image stays loose and bright, with shapes blending into one another. The short strokes give the garland a soft rhythm.

The fine art print uses matte paper so the painted colour patches read without shine. A light frame suits a pale wall, or a wood frame sits beside wooden furniture. The print hangs at a steady height on the chosen wall.

It works on a dining room wall above a side board. From the table you read the big colour shapes, and the small marks stay visible when you pass by.
