Giocando — Fine Art

Giocando shows two children playing side by side on a plain sheet. The scene uses basic outlines and fills. Alighiero Boetti painted figures in this direct way during his years making works on paper and canvas. The white frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall and the white edge sits quietly against the plain background. A reading corner shelf holds the piece and you notice the two figures first.

The paper is matte, so the light fills stay soft and there is no shine under a lamp. The fine art print keeps the original look without gloss.

The hallway wall picture shows the two figures from a distance and you see the simple shapes before the small details.
