Golden Center in the Ladder

Golden Center in the Ladder by Alice Baber shows a warm yellow band set against a lighter background. The colour sits in the middle and the surrounding tones stay calm. The work holds a postwar American painting feel with a simple ladder shape implied by the marks.

The fine art print on matte paper keeps the yellow tones soft and the darker parts quiet. A white frame gives the picture a clean edge on the wall, so the band does not blur into the space around it.

In a reading corner this print sits on a side wall where the morning light falls across it. From the chair you see the yellow band first, then the quiet tones behind it.

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
