Green Stripes

Green Stripes - 1970 sets narrow bands of green paint in a row across the sheet. The stripes stay even and the colour shifts from one band to the next.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. Gene Davis worked in colour band painting, laying flat stripes across the surface. The white frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall.

You see the green bands first, then the clean frame line. It fits a reading corner near a desk lamp. The lamp brings out the green tones on the paper and the frame keeps the edges steady.
