Her Blue Deeps — Fine Art

Her Blue Deeps takes the blue washes Sam Francis often used and sets them across an open field. Thin layers let the lighter tones show through, with space left between the painted shapes. The painter worked with water based colour on a white ground.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The paper arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger on the back that fits onto a nail or screw. You do not need a separate frame. The matte surface keeps the blue tones soft under a lamp.

It fits on a kitchen wall near the window seat. From the breakfast table you see the blue shapes move across the white. In the morning light the thin layers read as separate bands of colour.
