Horizontal Wavy Lines — Fine Art

Horizontal Wavy Lines shows parallel bands that bend gently across the sheet. Sol LeWitt drew and inked straight and curved rules as part of a larger set of wall drawings and prints. The title points to the simple layout of repeated wavy runs.

The paper is matte and the ink sits flat, so the lines do not glare under a lamp. A light frame on a dark wall makes the bands stand out, while a wood frame near a wooden shelf keeps the look plain. This is a fine art print ready to hang.

It fits a narrow hallway wall with one bulb overhead, or a bedroom wall above a low dresser. From the door you see the rows step across the paper, and up close the pencil underdrawing shows through in places.
