House and Trees — Fine Art

House and Trees by Paul Cézanne uses short separate strokes to build the scene. The picture shows a house set among grouped trees, with forms made from repeated patches of paint. The work belongs to the post impressionist painting tradition, where shapes are built from small marks instead of smooth colour.

This fine art print is set in a frame with a back panel. It arrives assembled with the ready to hang option. The frame keeps the edges clean and the back panel makes the print stand flat against the wall.

A strip of wall beside a desk in a study holds the picture. From the desk you see the house shapes and the tree patches without effort. The space stays open and the marks stay clear.
