Houses of Parliament, Sunset 02 — Fine Art

Houses of Parliament, Sunset 02 shows a river with buildings across the water under a low orange sky. Painted marks spread the colour across the water and the building shapes. Claude Monet worked in the impressionist movement and painted outdoors to study changing light.

The fine art print sits on a pale wall at a height where the top of the frame meets your eye. A light frame keeps the warm sky tones clear without pulling focus from the river.

On a study desk the orange tones sit above the work surface and the building shapes stay readable across the desk. The water marks stay loose from that distance.
