Hydrometric Demonstration — Fine Art

Hydrometric Demonstration uses the frottage method to lift texture from a surface below the paper. Dark lines and soft shapes rise through several layers, set against a muted background. The piece belongs to the surrealist work of Max Ernst.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed. You can place it on the wall without extra fittings.

It hangs well in a narrow hallway above a small bench. From the doorway you notice the layered marks first, and when you stand nearer the rough edges in the paper become clear.
