The Ides of March by Cy Twombly shows a pale field with loose pencil lines and small painted marks. The writing and scribbles drift over the surface like notes on a page. At a step back the marks read as a single gray field. Closer up the pencil lines and thin paint strokes become separate.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed. The matte paper keeps the gray tones even and the pencil lines stay soft under a lamp.
