Imaginations Door — Fine Art

Imaginations Door - 1980 shows a painted opening set in a broad colour field. Ronnie Landfield uses layered brushwork to build the shape, with planes of colour meeting across the sheet. The work sits inside his longer practice of broad colour areas and hard drawn lines.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The print keeps the painted surface flat, so the colour bands read without glare. The frame and back panel make it ready to hang when assembled.

It works on a bedroom wall near a reading lamp. The doorway shape catches the warm light, and the colour bands shift as you move across the room.
