In Celebration — Fine Art

In Celebration by Sam Gilliam shows bands and washes of colour laid across the surface. The paint sits in broad gestures that shift from one tone to the next. You see the big shapes from the hallway and the loose brushwork up close.

The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. Pick white or black to keep the edge quiet against the colour field. The fine art print gets a clear line on the wall from the frame.

On a study wall near a desk lamp the bands read as steady colour bands. From the doorway the marks stay broad and the frame edge stays sharp.
