In the Forest — Fine Art

In the Forest by Paul Cézanne moves from a wall at a distance to the surface up near. At the wall the trees read as soft blocks of green and brown. Near the print the same marks break apart into small separate strokes that look like painted leaves.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The frame finish can follow the room. A light frame on a dark wall lets the greens stay calm, while a wood frame beside wooden furniture ties the print to the joinery.

It suits a hallway with cool light from a side door. From the middle of the corridor you see the tree shapes clearly, and the print reads as a quiet forest view on the wall.
