Initial D — Fine Art

The title Initial D points to a measured study of shapes that join and turn against one another. A fine art print keeps the lines clear on a quiet background.

The first mark meets the next, and the eye follows the crossing lines. MC Escher worked in steady line drawings and black ink on pale sheets, a practice built on careful repeats and optical pattern study.

You get a fine art print with a metal hanger on the back, ready to go up on a nail or screw without a separate frame. Hang it on the landing wall beside the stair rail, where the narrow light from the hall window lands on the line crossings and the small pencil pressure changes.
