Intensive Crescent — Fine Art

The image holds a sweeping curve of dense pigment that bends across the field. Intensive Crescent - 1985 by Richard Pousette-Dart keeps the arc loose and open. The paint gathers in one area and thins out as it moves away.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. A white frame gives the picture a steady border. White keeps the paint tones clear and the curve stays the main thing. The frame finish reads as clean against the painted sweep.

Hang it on a dining room wall with warm light from a side lamp. From the table you notice the curve first, and later the smaller shifts in the paint. The white frame keeps the edge steady there.
