Jet Fighter 1963

Jet Fighter 1963 shows a grey aircraft shape with a blurred edge against a plain ground. The paint layer reads differently from across the room and up close. Soft marks sit under the hard outline of the machine.

A fine art print is set in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the grey tones soft and holds the blur without shine.

It works on a bedroom wall where a lamp throws a warm pool of light across the metal shape. You notice the edge of the wing first, then the grey fade behind it.
