Korn — Fine Art

Korn by Gerhard Richter shows a single blurred shape against a plain field. The colour stays soft and the edges do not sharpen.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. You can read the form from across the room. Closer up the blur breaks into thin layers of paint. The white frame gives the picture a clean edge against the image.

The finish keeps the grey tones flat and does not add shine. It works above the kitchen counter. You notice the soft field first, then the shape in the middle.
