La Fortune by Man Ray — Fine Art

La Fortune shows a pipe and a spilled glass on a plain table. The pipe rests across the cloth and the liquid spreads in a bright pool. Man Ray made the scene look still and odd at the same time. The picture stays with you because the objects do nothing and yet feel arranged.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger fixed to the back. You push it straight onto a nail or screw. No frame is needed, so the cloth and the glass keep the simple layout they have on the sheet.

In a kitchen near the sink, the glass and the pipe sit over the counter. From the doorway you see the bright pool first, then the dark pipe. The metal hanger holds the sheet flat above the tiles.
