La Maisonnette 1919 — Fine Art

A building with a window and door sits on a simple ground in La Maisonnette 1919. Greens and blues sit next to warm reds, so the front of the house reads dark against the lighter ground. Broad brush marks hold the outline edges in place.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The paper is matte, so the greens stay even and the reds do not grab the light under a lamp. A dark frame on a pale wall keeps the building silhouette separate from the wall behind it.

It hangs on a wall beside a door at eye level. From a few steps back the house looks solid, and from close up the brush marks break the flat colour into pieces.
