Landslide — Fine Art

Landslide - 1978 uses broad painted fields laid over a worked ground. The paint sits in layers, and hard edges cut through the colour. A few thin lines cross the surface and lead the eye across the sheet. The abstract painting practice of John Hoyland shapes these gestures.
