Lavender by Henri

Lavender by Henri-Edmond Cross moves across the paper in small colour strokes. The picture builds a field of soft purple and pale green tones. Cross worked with separate patches of paint laid side by side.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel. The paper has a matte finish so the purple tones stay flat and do not reflect much. When you use the ready to hang option the frame arrives assembled and ready to put on the wall.

It fits on a bedroom wall near the bed head. From the doorway you see the broad purple band first. Closer up the small strokes come into view and the green patches start to separate. The light from the bedside lamp makes the tones read soft.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch.
