Leonid Afremov by Leonid Afremov — Fine Art

Thick paint covers the street scene in Leonid Afremov. Short strokes and bright colours build the night view. The city path runs forward with lamp glow on the wet ground.

The fine art print keeps the knife marks and colour breaks of the original. A dark frame on a pale wall lets the painted street stand out against the room.

On a stairwell landing the picture catches the light from the hall lamp. From the bottom step the street colours read first and the dark sky settles behind them.
