Leonid Afremov by Leonid Afremov — Fine Art

Leonid Afremov uses thick paint laid in quick strokes across the canvas. The picture shows a night street lit by warm coloured lamps. The mark itself reads as a fast gesture, with paint squeezed directly from the tube.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte paper holds the bright streaks without a shine under a lamp.

It fits a kitchen wall near the breakfast table, where the warm lights match the room at night. From the doorway you notice the broad colour blocks first, then the small broken strokes when you pass by.
