Leonid Afremov by Leonid Afremov — Fine Art

Leonid Afremov shows a wet street scene with small figures under a large canopy of colour. Warm yellow and orange cover most of the picture, with deep blue and purple at the edges. The marks look like thick paint strokes laid one over the next.

This fine art print sits on a wall where the frame can follow the room. A light frame on a dark wall lets the bright yellow stand out. A dark frame on a pale wall does the same for the blue edge.

In a small dining room, you see the yellow canopy first from the doorway, then the blue marks when you stand by the table. The scene stays calm under the room light.
