This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface lets the painted areas read as they were made, with the softer tones staying close and the harder edges holding their line.

It sits on the wall at the end of the hall, where the light from the front room hits the painted field at an angle. From the landing you see the broad shapes, and in the evening the softer tones stay close to the surface.
