Life Savers — Fine Art

Life Savers by Andy Warhol uses the pop art approach the artist is known for. The sheet shows candy shaped like small rings, laid out in a clear row. Each ring keeps a bright flat tone against a plain ground. The marks stay hard and the edges do not soften.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The frame finish can follow the room, so a light frame sits on a dark wall and a dark frame rests on a pale wall. A wood frame works beside wooden furniture.

Hang it above a plain desk where the light does not hit from behind. From the door you see the row of rings first, then the plain ground. From the chair you notice each ring keeps its own tone and the edges stay sharp.
