Light Red Over Black

Two soft colour bands sit on top of each other against a dark ground.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. Light Red Over Black - 1957 shows a red field above a black field, both with blurred edges that let one tone move into the next. The shapes stay broad and simple.

Rothko painted with thin washes that build these colour fields. The black remains quiet at the bottom and the red draws the eye upward.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch.
