Lightning Dreaming — Fine Art

Lightning Dreaming - 1989 shows a network of branching white marks crossing a dark field. The storm pattern sits over dot clusters and short strokes that look like rain and wind.

The artist built this kind of country map through his later years. The fine art print keeps the white lines sharp against the darker tones.

A soft matte finish on the paper stops glare from bright overhead bulbs on the branching marks. It fits on a hallway wall beside a tall mirror. From the landing you notice the main branches first and the smaller dots only when you pass by.
