Limb SF78-095 shows open colour shapes spread across a loose white field. Sam Francis worked with thin washes that let the white ground stay open. The eye moves from one colour area to the next without a fixed path. Empty space carries as much weight as the painted marks.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel, so the surface stays flat against the wall. The matte paper keeps the pale tones even and does not add shine where the white areas are widest.
