Long-term parking — Fine Art

The title Long-term parking - 1982 points to a scene of stacked cars and hard edges. Arman built the picture around everyday objects pressed into dense groups. A flat ground holds the shapes, and the eye moves through the tight arrangement of forms.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. One wall mount is enough, and the print goes up without a frame. The matte surface keeps the darker tones from shining under a lamp.

It fits a hallway between two doors, where the repeated shapes read as a row from the stairwell. From the landing you see the whole group at once, and near the wall the finer lines in the print become clear.
