Louisas 43Rd Birthday Present 1948 — Fine Art

Louisas 43Rd Birthday Present 1948 holds a painted shape that balances on a thin wire line. The form reads as a standing figure with a soft curve near the top. The working method follows the kinetic sculpture practice of Alexander Calder, where flat painted metal and wire stand together.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black and gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. A black frame edge keeps the wire line sharp against the painted shape.

On a hallway wall the wire line catches the morning light and the painted shape stays still.
