About this work

Marinha com Sol e Palmeiras

Marinha com Sol e Palmeiras - 2003 shows a beach scene with sun and palms in bright greens against a blue sky. The paint is laid in broad patches with a loose touch. Aldemir Martins built this in the Brazilian modern tradition.

The fine art print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte paper keeps the greens and blues flat and even under a lamp.

It fits a study wall above a desk. From the chair you see the green palms and the white sun patch, and the small brush marks show when you lean in.
