MoM Block Nr. 6 — Fine Art

MoM Block Nr. 6 - 1999 shows a grid of small painted marks spread over a broad field. The marks vary in tone, with darker blocks sitting beside lighter ones. Michel Majerus often worked in digital and gestural abstraction, and this image carries that mix of order and chance.

The print on fine art paper sits in a frame that comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. A dark wood frame sets a firm border around the blocks and keeps the pale marks from losing their edges.
