Monument Valley — Fine Art

Monument Valley by Eyvind Earle shows a long line of red rock mesas against a bright sky. The land sits in clear bands of warm earth tones, and the blue above stays plain. Flat colour shapes and clean outlines give each ridge a hard edge.

This fine art print uses matte paper, so the pale sky does not shine under a lamp. A light frame on a dark wall lets the warm earth tones stand out. A dark frame on a pale wall keeps the blue sky calm.

Hang it on a spare wall in a hallway, with the shelf line near the middle of the print. Soft daylight from a side window lets the reds hold their tone. For a long sofa across the room, the big mesas read first and the fine lines come later.
