Mornington Crescent

Thick layers of paint build up over the same stretch of road in Mornington Crescent. The marks press and scrape across the surface, leaving ridges and gaps where the ground shows through. You can see the build up from the doorway and the small cuts in the paint when you stand nearer.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The print keeps the rough build up of the paint and the uneven edges of the marks.

In a narrow kitchen, the busy marks settle above the sink. You notice the thick passages of paint and the bare patches while you wash dishes. The title sits on the wall and the room feels a little less plain.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
