Mount of the Holy Cross — Fine Art

Mount of the Holy Cross by Thomas Moran presents a mountain peak wearing a dark cross of snow. The rocky slopes carry cool gray tones, and the sky stays pale above the ridge. This fine art print keeps those quiet tones steady on the page.

You see the same cool grays in the print that Moran painted in the original scene. The white frame finish cuts a clean edge around the image, so the mountain does not blur into the wall.

The frame gives the picture a firm line on the wall. Hang it in a narrow hallway above a bench. From the hall you notice the snow cross first, and the rock bands next. The white frame keeps the view calm as you walk by.
