Mount Tamalpais — Fine Art

Mount Tamalpais - 1985 by Etel Adnan shows a mountain outline drawn in soft colour over a plain field. The painter worked with small brush marks and hazy layers, a method she kept across her landscape writing and painting.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang. A metal hanger sits on the back and fits straight onto a nail or screw, so the sheet goes up on the wall without a separate frame. The paper takes the soft tones without shine, which suits the hazy mountain look.

In a bedroom, the print sits above the bed on the far wall. From the doorway you notice the ridge line first, then the faint colour changes. The room feels calmer when the light lands on the matte surface.
