Mountains of Buda by Laszlo Moholy-Nagy

Mountains of Buda places a steep slope and a distant ridge in the frame. Cool blue tones shift into grey near the base. The horizon line runs low across the print. Fine art paper carries the print with a soft matte finish.

The white frame finish sets a clean line around the picture. The frame edge gives the composition a steady border on the wall. You see the ridge clearly against the white surround.

It fits above a bedside table in a bedroom. From the doorway you notice the blue wash and the dark line of the ridge. The light from the lamp keeps the tones even.
