My Backyard by Georgia OKeeffe — Fine Art

My Backyard shows a familiar space softened by memory. The picture follows a habit in Georgia OKeeffe work of narrowing a view until the shape of the place stays with you. A simple yard takes the stage. The eye finds the line of a fence or a path rather than a full scene.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The surface holds the painted shapes without shine, so the pale tones in My Backyard read as they should. With the ready to hang option it arrives assembled on the wall.

In a bedroom alcove the print sits on the wall beside the bed. In the morning the shapes stay clear without glare from the lamp nearby. The yard feel stays close when you stand near the dresser.
