Narrow Gauge Railway in the Mountains 1963

A narrow railway track climbs through steep hills in this print. Jerzy Nowosielski painted the scene with thin strokes and a quiet range of earth tones.

The metal hanger on the back fits onto a single nail, so the print goes up on the wall without a frame. Fine art paper holds the muted greens and browns without a shine under the kitchen light.

It fits a narrow wall above the sink in the kitchen. From the doorway you read the track first, then the small trees on the far ridge.
