Not Detected 42 — Fine Art

A plain field of colour fills Not Detected 42, with small shifts in tone marking the surface. You see the work first as a quiet shape on the wall, then the small changes in the paint as you step nearer.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The frame in white or wood gives the picture a clean edge on the wall. The white frame keeps the pale field open, while a wood finish adds a firmer line beside the soft tone shifts.

In a long hallway with a single lamp near the floor, the pale field reads as a steady band between the doors. From the landing you notice the slow changes in tone, and from the far end the whole field holds together without detail to break it.
