Not Identified 8 — Fine Art

Not Identified 8 by Henri Matisse sits on a cream ground with painted shapes that lean toward simple forms. The work belongs to Henri Matisse and his long habit of building images from flat colour and clear marks. You can see the logic of that practice in the balance of the shapes.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger fitted to the back. It goes up on a nail or screw with no separate frame to buy. The print keeps the painted feel of the original on paper.

Hang it on a pale wall near a window where the light stays soft. From a few steps back the shapes read as a calm group. Up close you notice the flat edges and the slight differences between them.
