O sole mio! — Fine Art

O sole mio. - 1979 by Mario Schifano shows a bold screenprint in bright red and blue. The letters sit in the centre of the sheet against a white ground.

Mario Schifano worked in pop art and used graphic shapes and flat colour across his career. The white frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. That clean border keeps the red and blue letters from spreading into the room.

This fine art print is ready to hang without any extra work. Hang it on a bedroom wall near the bed. The big letters read first, even in dim light. The flat blue and red stay clear next to the plaster.
