Oil Fields — Fine Art

Oil Fields by Etel Adnan uses broad color bands that cross the sheet in uneven steps. The eye settles on the top band, then drops to the middle, where the widest passage leaves open space on either side. The lower register stays thin and light.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel and arrives assembled when you choose ready to hang. The matte surface keeps the layered color fields soft, so the paint like gestures in Oil Fields hold their own weight without a shine.

In a dining room over a long table, the wide color bands line up with the table edge. From the doorway you read the darkest band first, and the lighter lower band stays quiet against the wall.
